I have no trouble throwing 7 & 8 inch crabs back when they are light.  Huh Who wants to pick empty crabs? I'd rather catch em again in a few weeks when they are full.

Went down to Mariner about 1pm.  Even the third lot in the back where the dogwalkers park was full of boat trailers.  All along the woods, up on the grass, up over curbs.  Wish I had my camera with me.  Don't know if park staff OK'd it or not.  I do know they have handed out tickets like confetti when they didn't.  If I had to guess, I'd say there were around 100 trailers in there at a ramp built for 50.  Kinda like squeezin' a size 12 woman in a size 6 dress. Lips Sealed Roll Eyes  And everybody fightin' over mostly paper shells at that!  We got some mixed nice ones last week, but a lot were just white belly junk throw backs.

Good for ya. You got more than most, including me. I ran 2200 ft snood line and ended w/ 1 basket after throwing back more than half that came up (whites).

I just posted this on another topic

Make it easy on ya, go to

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/Downloads/powertoys/Xppowertoys.mspx

and 1/2 way down on the right you can click on the link to download Image Resizer

After you install it just right click on the pic to resize it.  I think this only works with XP, let me know if you have another operating system.

I don't think the light ones taste as good as the full ones.  Not sure why that is.  The flavor is just off somehow. Huh  You can have 'em FP. Cool

I never use a mallet.  But I don't even need a knife for white-bellies.  I just break em apart with my hands.  But like I said, I'd rather have to work on a nice packed dark brown belly instead. Wink   But, to each his own!  Happy crabbin'  Grin
