Crabbing by the Hudson River by the Riverside Metro North station in Bronx, NY.

Hello,

I am a newbie here but have loved blue crabs ever since I was a child.

I was wondering if anyone here had any experience crabbing on the Hudson River by the Riverside Metro North station in the Bronx. Long ago, my grandfather took me fishing and crabbing near the station and remember bringing home a dozen large blue crabs. I recently visited the station and everything looked different from what I remembered. There were a few fisherman there but non of the spoke any English.

Has anyone here crabbed in that are before? I am thinking of going there in the next month and I was wondering if I need a permit. Also, is there a cage/trap limit per person?
