OK I have been reading some great info on this site Two thumb up to everyone.

What is the deference between a pot and trap? What I think is a trap has 3 or 4 side that fold down when in the water and only traps the crab when you pull it up. A pot is something a crab can get in but not out. OK with that said am I right in thinking I can use traps with out a permit.

Thanks
