Yeah when the Scottapsco turns into the Wye(which it already has this year) Time to put the chain up at the launch...I just dont get it why people need to report every crab they catch... Then when the ramp is full and the river has no room for anyone to crab then you bitch about how many people are crabbing..Jeesh people are clueless.

I crab that river everyday and it is full of folks from May till the end of September..Its already over crabbed... Most of the crabs near the hospital are papershells that never even make it to hard crabs..Not counting all the folks running crabs back to their truck..Which reminds me the fellas who have a black and camo boat that run traps down in front of the hospital who recently was fined for taking to many crabs.. I turned you in.. So you dont have to ask around anymore..You have a problem come see me on the water..Im in the Deborah Ann..Heres is my picture on the boat

And alot folks on this board are witnesses to it.. 21 bushels is a joke pal for a whole season as a chicken necker..[Sam Hill] Joe Crabs got you beat.

I dont worry about you or anyone else..When the moratorium comes  next year..You folks from PA will be crabbing in Delaware and Jersey and us MD folks wont have to worry about you coming down here and flooding our ramps.. Because the first thing that is on the books for next years proposed regs  is restricting out of state crabbers. Im not whinning pal just telling you the way that it is

I have heard of people running crabs home and comming out for more. I went to Mars to get some necks and the cashier told me she had some guys comming in for the second time that day buying necks. They said they already had 3 bushels and  were going out for more. Guys like that have got to be selling the crabs. And you know they were not commercial because why would they be getting their necks at Mars? People who abuse the system shoudln't be surprised or angry when they get caught. If you are willing to take the risk you should be willing to deal with the consequences. It's people like that that give Recs a bad name.
