Looked like the rain was gonna hold off a while, so hooked up the trailer and drove over to the Coast Guard Yard at Curtis Bay to launch at mid-morning.  Set 8 traps in the shallower area of the turn-around used by the bouy tenders.  Went off another 25 feet and put in some handlines.  Between the two techniques, brought home a total of 27 jimmies, 6.25-7.50" after about 5 hours of crabbing.  Released about 7 smaller ones.  Looks like things are starting to turn around!  I now have the fever!  Wasn't a great day -- even got sprinkled on a little -- but believe that those days are coming!  Grin Grin Grin

Crabpop:

Nice going.  Grin  I was surprised to hear that you got that many big boys so far up the bay, this early in the year....but I'm sure you were not disappointed, huh?
