Went crabbing on the West River, Sat 6/21 I ran 800 feet if trotline and 4 collapsible traps. Four and half hours and only 22 crabs. I caught most of the crabs in the traps. The crabs were not hitting the trotline for some reason. Water was murky from all the rain. Hopefully it will pick up soon.

Was out at Solomans island Today. Riding taking pictures a little fishing and some test crabbing to see whats up. Set six ring traps off Cove Point hook 20 minutes and pulled up two crabs a male about 5 " and a female 6". this was on the main bay and if I had set a trotline and ran it I probably would have had a 1/2 bushel for a few hours ..smooth bay today..so things are looking up!
