hi, i just move to port st lucie and i was wondering if anyone can give me some clues or how to catch some blue crab. I went to the bait shop and they told me that i need to get a some trap and put it on the river. They say u cant catch crab of the piers anymore. I dont have a boat and was wondering if anyone know any place i can just go and throw a piece of chicken on a string and catch some lol.

Welcome to the forum, Timmy.

You'll get more replies here.... try searching the "Hard Crabbing Know-How" threads for info on equipment & techniques.  Wink

check out the walkway at veterans memorial park....there are plenty of comm traps down river from there.....some rain will make the crabs move that way...give it a try and let us know...
