I am going down there Friday.  Have you gone down to the Pier yet?  I'm kind of curious if they are running yet. Huh

I crabbed close to the choptank bridge a week ago and only cought 1 dozen keepers in 5 and a half hours. I had some friends with me so it wasn't that bad. Hopefully you will have better luck then me but this weather better get better and the rain go away. I would listen to the news but they just flip a coin to predict the weather and I can do that. Goodluck out there.

Just make sure you have enough room for your fellow crabbers and all are crabbing gear. Wink

:)As I had said in my previous post, I went to the Choptank River Fishing Pier (Have no boat yet Angry) on July 4th.  It was a very slow day.  We (wife and two of my sons) set 42 traps at Light post 44 (Talbot Side) at 5:10 am.  Checked the traps after one hour... :-\Nothing.  At high tide we hade 6 (8:40AM).  We stuck it out til noon and left with 21.  Most were in the 6-7 inch range.  No complaints on size or fullness.  Very nice crabs.  Just real SSSSSSLLLLLLOOOOOOWWWWW!  Hope every one else did better.  Happy Independence Day!
