Hello everyone,
just curious as to how the crabbing near gloucester point was doing. planning on going sometime soon, probably not till august unless the crabs are crawling into the buckets relentlessly.
hope everyone is having a great season and I cant wait to take my family crabbing.

Hey! Quick question, where do you go crabbing at Gloucester Point? Is it anywhere near their "beach park"

That is the easiest place to crab, the pier at the park. It gets REALLY crowded there on the weekends. Show up early for a good spot. You can crab many places along the Colonial Pkwy. It is all from the shore though. But with enough patience you can bring them in. York river state park is just down the road also. That doesn't get as much use but the crabs are harder to get. It is really shallow there. 3 feet all the way from shore to the end of the pier on a low tide. FLAT darndest thing I have ever see.

Good luck.
