I think he's gotten the sh!ts from people trying to debunk his reports....ashame I tell ya...they were actually semi usefull to me as I do boat where he was reporting on.

I was on the gunpower Friday afternoon and only got 1 crab Sad was probably about 1000 yards off the backside of Maxwell point. Moved to the opposite shore after getting stopped by DNR due to a storm rolling thru(no luck). But only to get chased out by the storm 1/2 hour later anyway...lots of lightning.

Personally starting to believe it'd just be cheaper and alot easier to just buy crabs and find another way to spend my days being productive cause me crabbing surely isn't productive.

Thanks for the inquiries; I am around! The rivers have seemed somewhat slow recently. This morning there were about 5 crabbers out on the GP over by Maxwell and Piney Point and none I could see on the Bush. I have noticed a lot more traffic in the afternoon. Last week on Thursday there was hardly anyone out surprisingly on either river and around 8 on the GP on Friday morning. Friday afternoon there was about double that number if you include a couple of jet skiers I saw buzzing around with most of the boaters being off the tip and  on the inside cove of Maxwell. Can't see the east side of Maxwell so I dunno what was going on there. I didn't get out last weekend since I was helpng put a skeet shoot get together with the Maryland Waterfowlers Association at Loch Raven Trap and Skeet Club. I might try to get out his weekend if I have the time.

Seems weekday mornings are the best time to hit the GP if you want to avoid crowds. I don't think the Bush is doing really great yet as I haven't seen the regulars out there much this year so far.
