I've been going down to Wye Mills for the past year crabbing only because they have the cheap boat rentals ($80 per day including gas).  Does anyone know of any place in Delaware that has similar rentals available for crabbing?

I wouldn't consider 80 dollars cheap for a boat rental. May as well just buy a half a bushel and call it a day. I have not been there in a couple of years but East Neck boat rentals in Rock Hall,MD used to rent rowboats for $20.00 per day. You could add a trolling motor for $10.00 or a gas motor for $20.00.

$80 bucks aint cheap. But then again, gas was .25 cents a gallon when I was born.  For $80 bucks, you better be getting more than half a bushel though... unless they're Mumbos!  Grin

I don't understand guys.  Huh ..It's all about the sport and the love of catching crabs..I don't own a boat and I rented loads of times (except when friends of mine invite me).I go where the crabs are or where they are supposed to be.I don't shop around for a place that has cheap boats. The season is to short and life is to short.Just save your pennies during the winter.  Grin
