I was getting my "Wye River' ramp permit by mail each year. this year Talbot Co. MD. sent out a notice that they would not sell the ramp permits by mail. I do not belive the permits Grin are available at the  Wye River Landing . they did sell them a few years ago but stopped. Any places to get them early in the morning?

Darrell, Angler's on Rt. 50, about 1 mile west of the Bay Bridge, carries Queen Anne's Co. permits; they might also have Talbot Co. permits.  If they don't have them, I would imagine that the bait and tackle stores along Rt. 50, east of Kent Narrows in Queen Anne's Co. will have the Talbot Co. permits.  Most should have fairly early opening hours.

Darrell, Angler's on Rt. 50, will not sell Talbot county ramp permits ( at least last that I asked) however they do sell them once again at the Wye river store, only draw back is not till they open.

If you're driving down Rt. 50 go to 2'nd exit pass Angler's you will see sign from Hwy called Chesapeake Outdoars on the right (same side as angler's) They open at 5:00 am and will sell Talbot Cty. permits there. Thats the only other shot that I have for ya!...
