Hi everyone. I was thinking about rigging up a winch to haul the traps in, and this guy was telling me about a rake that grabs the float and the trap lifts up alongside the boat. I searched for rake but only found clam rake. I cant find anything online. Just wondering if you fellow fisherman have seen or heard of this before?

They use them in the lakes over there in places where the depth of the water is the same.

R D thanks for the reply I crab In vermillion bay and the bay is about 7'' every ware so the rake would work. Tks.

yes, they use them here if you crab in the same depth, i go from 1.5 to 8 ft so i cannot use it have pic of on.

i am actually about to put one on my boat soon. its not that bad on the trap as long as you put pvc in the corner where you tie the trap. also need to put the plastic cap on the floats...but other than that you can really get fast as soon as you get used to it from what i hear and see.
