Went to monitor marimac overlook park a few times. Today, as the tide came in got around 2 dozen really quickly, one would be on right after the other... then it fell off but was still good till after high tide/dark - some giant ones using ring-net hand lines.  Ended up with about 4 dozen. All of them were very heavy on meat.   Also had threw back a ton of sponge crabs and ones that I'd keep at other places - but was keeping the big ones!

Fishing, I couldn't even get nibbles and only saw a non reg flounder / tautog caught, and teeny tiny spot here and there.

Free pier.  Also saw people hauling up a lot of them at the bridge nearby.

There are also a ton of crab traps nearby, can see the buoys all over the place.

Went again, Was slow.   High tide this time was particularly fierce during afternoon.

Ended up with 30 nice crabs.  But that was over 8 hours, so kinda bad. The time they came, was 20 pretty much within a 1-2 hour span when that crazy tide went back out :p.  Tide was rockin my string traps during time probably would have been great crabbing... Even lost a few to the tide. Time to look to wire rings :p or the bluecrab info baskets :p First time seen that here, even though been like 8 times. Even put up to 8 ounces of weight on one, major seaweed issues hitting and dragging for a while ----

but, I did catch a few spot - and one awfully big one, for a spot - on Fishbites artificial bloodworm.    And caught some (non regulation) flounder in my crab traps.
