Dead Crabs and more dead crabs!

About 500-600 lbs this week. And what isn't dead is carp. And the price of carp is down to 30 cents a lb. We get times every year when the crabs die - but it usually dosen't last this long.
Hope the rest of you are doing better. This is not going to be a good year, unless things really start to pick up. Tongue

30 cents a pound for Carp is a good price... If I could get that much I'd hammer em...I know I could get 6,000 pounds of them a day in the Currituck Sound.. Grin

Dead crabs no news there...especially since U crab southside, hot days and wind from the SW usually does that, even up to the 3' depth.  My  son has pots  on that side as well, had the same problem.   Usually carp price never really goes up except...I think around some Oriental or Jewish holidays. What I mean by up is like a nickel Smiley

OMG.....cap lock stuck much? I can hear you loud and clear.
The storm had no effect on crabs here, didnt think it would as it was far out to see. Crabs are still running strong and actually looks like a good fall run this year......knock on wood

Huh Huh What river? Storm had no effect on any river here....a 1/10" of rain didnt cloud / muddy the water.
