Was walking along a beach here in Staten Island with my son the other day and
came across a couple of "nests" old tires and a couple of cement blocks that
had a bunch of quarter and bigger sized Blue Claw babies in them
Does anyone know how long it takes for them to mature?
Seems to me that when they do grow up these may be prime spots!

Not sure about up there because of the shorter season but down here they could be legal size in 2 to 3 months.If there are not many big crabs there now then these probably wont stay but migrate on with the food and water temp they like.
