Nice catch. I worked at a resort in Westbrook for a little while. Wasn't really into crabbing as much then. I know I went a couple of times though, think it was more towards Saybrook near a Burger King. Keep it up.

Went again today, 5 nets 2 hours. Caught incoming tide (1/2 in already). 13 keepers, tons of shorts, many missed monsters (cloth nets they've been cutting through holes and slipping out). Had only 3 bunker with me. Ran out of bait plus son fell in the water = go home.
Cooked, shucked, wife ate 8 of them.
Sizes could be better. All were 5 to 6 but packed with meat.
Anyone else doing well in CT and where?

Caught 5 keepers on outgoing to slack low. 1 1/2 hours. Tons of keepers on the rocks. Just out of my reach.
All packed. Nice snack for the wife. I tried to grab a claw from her. I won't do that again.

24 in 3 hours. low slack coming in. nice haul.
JerseyPete came up and crabbed with me for the day, then watched the Jets whack the Pats. He's the Jet fan, I am not a Jets fan (Pats)
