Spent last week in Salvo....crabbed with handlines on the soundside off a dock twice. Caught about 50 but the biggest being about 4 inches...lots of juvies. Wish I had my camera caught one with red claws but when I fliiped it over it had the apron of a male?  It was only about 3", is this common when they are this small. Thought of calling you Gene, but with two kids it is hard to drive that far when they want to fight the waves 24/7...Met a BCA member while fishing on the Oregon Inlet bridge....I think he said his handle was ECKB or so, from NJ....REally nice guy. SAd news on Friday that a 12 yo went missing off CArolla and wasn't found. He was body boarding. I didn't even go in the water on Friday as DAnny was makiing some really rough surf. Sad
