Can u use regaler clams for crabbing or does it have to be razer clams.

   dont  use  any  clams  from bb    Angry   only  thoses  from  the hudson river    as  for  razor clams

havent heard of anybody using regular clams but go head and try it and let us know how it goes Smiley

After a all night set all i got was a large cryfish off the clams. But I will keep trying.

You would have to break up regular clams but yes....  Cool  Crabs love all shellfish.  Tongue I have to inspect my oyster floats every week for small crabs.  If not, by the end of the growing season for the oysters, all I would have is one FAT Jimmie....  Wink Grin

Their shell is real thin.. Crabs can crush them..  A crab can open a regular clam too but it takes some chipping away at the shell.
