After a all night set all i got was a large cryfish off the clams. But I will keep trying.

You would have to break up regular clams but yes....  Crabs love all shellfish.  I have to inspect my oyster floats every week for small crabs. If not, by the end of the growing season for the oysters, all I would have is one FAT Jimmie....

Do razor clams not clam up?? Just stay open while in the water?
Their shell is real thin.. Crabs can crush them.. A crab can open a regular clam too but it takes some chipping away at the shell.
