Hit the water at about 9:30 with 18 topless traps baited with chicken necks.    I was working solo in the boat, as none of my usual crabbing partners were available.    Dropped in at the Riverdale ramp, and worked the area between the ramp and the Riverdale beach not far away.    Crabbed in between 4' and 5' of water.

Great day.    Lots of doubles, mostly nice sized male keepers.    Was pulling the boat out at noon, and had 70 nice, heavy crabs.    Large crab was 7 1/4" and many were between 6-7".    The crabs are really running thick right now.    Saw another group working a trotline who easily had a bushel and a half.

Steamed up two dozen and ate them up, and the balance got cleaned, halved, bagged and frozen for winter spaghetti sauce.

I prefer to share.   Thanks for the input, though.
