crabbing in Chincoteague

Does anybody have any ideas were to crab in Chincoteague?Been there a few times but never tried crabbing in the boat,just fishing.Any tips would be greatly appreciated ,thanks

I have crabbed all over chincoteague and do decent just about anywhere, mostly small females but sheesh its lots of fun.  Three weeks ago i was down there not far from capt. bobs and just crabbed off the dock of the house i was staying at with my maryland rec traps and got lots of grass but enough crabs to keep it interesting.  I do try and stay out of the channel edges where the tide runs really hard and get off into the little coves and drop 3 to 8 traps in each little cove area depending on how big the area is, but its hard to find places that dont go down to about 1 or 2 feet in low tide, you need a real low draft boat for some area's or you can get stuck in the mud.

Or worst... Hit a oyster rock....
