Caught them this evening 9/15.  Cleaned them and put them in fridge and am wondering will they stay good for a couple days there or should I cook them by tomorrow.

With cooked crabs I like to use the 72 hour rule......

As long as your cleaned crabs are in a container that has something over it to keep moisture in it.....they would last at least three days from caught.

i just faced that question last weekend.  I wanted to clean a few uncooked crabs and cook them differently.  Didn't know if i could clean them, keeping small legs intact and refrigerate them until the next day when i would cook them at home.  I decided to just keep them live because i caught them late in the afternoon and got home in the early morning which is when i then cleaned them.  I then proceeded to dip them in egg and then in shake and bake with some old bay added,,,,,and then fry them at 375 degree oil.   They were to die for.  A different recipe rather than always my usual crab boil. Just thought i'd suggest a different recipe for you.  juneee
