Greetings all,
New to the forum, Md native headed north to visit brother who lives in Mystic ct this weekend.  I want to take my nephew out ( highligt of his summer was when my husband took him out 2 months ago down south ) Is anyone familiar with that area? i have visited once or twice but don`t know the layout and my brother has put his crabbing days behind him. Going to drive up friday and throw a couple traps in the car, there neighbors have a small zodiac, i was told we could use but don`t have the first clue and where to go? i wouldn`t mind driving an hour or so in any direction just as long as i could get some keepers. car ride home with disgruntled 11 year old and empty basket=trouble. Angry Can anyone help us out?
fingers crossed, Kate

This link takes you real close to where I crabbed. This is about 35 minutes from Mystic. Exit 64 off of I-95. check out the map where to go. Not too far from exit.

A few nets off the bridge or a few handlines from shore will work if you don't want to take the boat out (there is a launch here  Smiley ). Caught 24 this past weekend. All nice size.

Nothing like sharing the wealth. I know some fellows on here that keep their honey hole to themselves.
