Anyone ever see/hear about the "Rock Crab"??  My sister who lives in Ocean City told me that someone pulled one up on his fishing line a few days ago from one of the piers.  She said the legs were long like those you get in the grocery store, I guess like the Alaskan crab legs, and the main pincer claws were short.  I'm wondering if you can cook em' up and what they might taste like?HuhHuh

If it had long legs and short claws it was probably a Spider crab. Rock crabs look like a Dungenous crab.

this is a rock crab.....they are rather small

I have heard of red rock crabs,No swim paddles on this species. Wink Smiley
