They are starting to thin out in the Norwalk area.
Water temp was 58F the other day.
Only got six at the boat club Friday night.

They usually are always around until about the third week of October. You should do ok. A lot of big males this time of year. Not as many but they are around. Goodluck. MAKO.

Wait. It gets better. I'm done for the year.  76 more keepers up to 7 1/2" with only 6 shorts. That's 144 in two half tides (outgoing).I only fished 6 hours from a canoe. I could have hit 100 today easy. Better get out there this week, I see them swimming past me going downstream. |

I looked quick today...only one small female seen!
I'll try and get out tomorrow in earnest.
They are moving out of my area though.
Last few days the numbers were down.
In the Norwalk harbor the water was 61.4 on Wednesday.
Outside in the sound the water temp was 64.4.
I did get a female egger Lobster in the pots.
First Lobster in a couple of weeks.
No one is doing well with Lobster this year in my area.
