Checked my lobster gear this past sunday. Pouring rain, hung traps, bugs and no tide made for a difficult session. Most of my lobster gear was hung up badly. I think this is caused by a large, deep-draft vessel navigating through the canal at low tide. The water the vessel displaces causes a suck/surge event that flips and moves all the traps and wraps them around the ledges. I'm not getting any younger and I was pretty worn out by the time I got done checking my gear. I got a dozen keepers, numerous egger's, many shorts and another one in ten million lobster! For the second year in a row I caught one of those one in ten million yellow lobster's. I wish I could get as lucky with the lottery tickets!!!

So I guess it's 2 in a million chance now. Wow. I remember the first pic earlier this year. You better play Powerball. Nice pics. If you ever get tired eating them bugs let us know. We'll take 'em off your hands. Lar

All my lobstering now is purely for fun ......that last yellow lobster was a male.....the first yellow lobster was a female.
