went on sunday with 1000, troutline and 12 pots caught a bushel but had to work for them not to many nice crabs mostly number 2 crabs but had fun i think im going to hang my hat up for this year my count for this year was 57 bushel its time to hunt now good luck everybody

Yeah we are pulling our pots for the year tonight, we are around 15 bushel for the year not counting the trips I have taken to maryland. The crarbs have been slowly slowing down and with the muzzleloader season coming up gotta switch gears! Might try and catch a few more strippers and perch for the year thought!

They might be slowing down alittle depending where you are crabbing in the river but
I went Friday and got 2 bushels in 3 hours.  Most #1's and #2's but all were full and only males.
We ran 1200 ft. of trotline only.   Wink

just a little info, but my bud went Saturday in the Wye and caught a full basket in 2 hours in 3' of water.....I'm stuck working in NH and just trying to help out..

I went to the Wye on monday afternoon 10/12/09 and nailed a packed bushel in 3 1/2 hrs in 6 feet of water.  I think I'm done for the season now.  I agree with Rambo.... Time to get ready for Duck hunting!
