Depth at the Wye

I am heading there and would be interested if there is an updated depth report. A few weeks ago they seemed to be in about 8' . . . has anything changed?
Thanks a lot!

I am going Friday and Saturday and I plan on using the same spots I do in the late spring/early summer when they first dig out and the water temp is about the same. I will be laying most my traps in 10' to 15' of water and will go a deeper if needed.
Good Luck!

Thanks, WyeGuy . . . we are heading out Saturday so perhaps I will see you on the river! Looking forward to your report.

Maybe I will see you. I run a 1860CC Platinum color G3 Jon boat, with a 60hp yamaha.

Hope it went well out there today . . . the weather seems a bit iffy given the wind (we rent one of the skiffs and toss a 5hp on it), but hopefully you found the crabs and the wind died down.

We went last Saturday. Caught nothing less than 9'. Most were 12'-14', caught some as deep as 24'. Surface temp was 67 degrees. Ended up with a bushel and a half. Very few throwbacks except for the females which we of coarse threwback. Good luck, let us know how you do. May try to sneak in another trip next week.
