ill probably go to jonas green state park on the severn again.. had OK luck this season (although the low temps and rain last week worry me) and i don't know many other good places to crab from a bridge/pier (no boat)... although i live in baltimore so i need to figure out something closer.

i'm building myself a kevlar canoe with outriggers this winter, best i can do with no truck to pull a trailer. i can put the canoe on the top of the car.

Thedutchtouch, SOT kayaks are very stable, I can lay with my legs off the starboard and my back hanging off the port side. If you really want to go with out riggers, they have DIY out riggers, and ones you can buy that fold up. Also some Hobies with outriggers also have sails.
