I am heading out on the 1st and launching the boat on Stoney Creek. Would like to catch about 2 dozen (dont need alot) and wanted to know if anyone has been out and did any good.

Well I will try deep and I am going to use topless trapes and I may only take 600' of troutline. I have to wonder if there is any action near the bodkin this time of year?

I caught over a bushel up by the Key Bridge on the 25th. Deep water did the best (over 12 ft), but I caught them in 8ft also. Crabbed from 8:30 till 1

I went boating last year with my older brother on South River when there was frost on the ground, but we didn't go far. Other then that no.

No Ray, but I have been many days duck hunting the marsh on the ES of MD with ice on everything including my guns, clothes boat decks... decoys etc.... and my black lab was one big ice ball....also been out on icy decks rockfishing in december and january.. does that count for you .....
