I was wondering if since Nov 11 is a federal holiday if one could crab? I know if the 4th of july falls on Wed. you can but want about Veterens day?

Go to the rules and regs part on the childs board of the maryland crabbing report under general prohibitions and it tells you rec crabbing is permitted on wed when a state or fed holiday falls on a wed or thur of that week.

I called DNR on 11/5 and confirmed verbally that crabbing IS PERMITTED on Veterans Day this year.

Veterans Day is listed as a state holiday on the state website:

Ergo - if you want to you can crab your little heart out on 11/11.
