Went out yesterday outside of Thompson Creek for the last trip of the year and came home with 21 keepers.  A few throwbacks and a few heavy females that went back too.  Water temp was 53.  Crabbed 12 to 18 feet with 30 traps.  Most caught 15 to 18 feet.  Averaged 2 keepers per run.  Pulled 300 traps for about two dozen.  No mumbos and most were decent but not too many mudders.  Traps are in the shed for the winter.  Saw a few other crabbers and we did better than most.

mbrage i was there friday and caught 54 (all mine were hitting in 7-9 ft.),2 crabs 7 3/4 otherwise a lot of smaller crabs. i dont think its worth it with these cold nights to start crabbing until after 10 or 11 when the sun warms things up. I've been out 3 times down there now and every time crabs don't run in numbers until after 11 regardless of moving or slack tide. kinda weird, some of the crabs later in the day will have mud on their shells too which proves they are coming out of the mud as it warms up
