Wish I would have known they were going.
Would have rode along to check out the coin collection!

Better trip home than on the way up!
The Child got a GPS last summer and we decided to borrow it for the trip up to Tattoo's house. We'd always worked old school with a map, and if we were getting really modern, with mapquest or the like. This was the first time we'd used it. Probably the last, too
Well - the GPS lady lied. Guess we ticked her off when we made a pit stop just over the Delaware Mem. Bridge. Had to "recalculate" several times and I guess she just got fed up with us. It had us make a left coming off the turnpike, when we should have made a right. End result, we went a good deal out of our way and got a mini unguided tour of south Jersey. Decided to ditch the gps directions and go back to the mapquest ones which took us right where we needed to go.
Had a great visit with Tattoo, met the dog, the cat and the lizards. Saw the coins- he's not kidding - he has a LOT! His daughters are even more beautiful in person. He was feeling a bit under the weather - hope you're feeling better Rich!
Oh, just to dispel any rumors - Tattoo does not walk around with a computer in hand at all times - it's not attached to him at all! It lives in his man cave.
The pictures don't do justice to the crab mount - it's just wonderful! It's hanging on my family room wall now (out of the reach of curious cats).
Kevin - if I'd known you wanted to go, heck, I almost drove right by your house going up 95. Remember, I asked if you wanted to car pool to pick up, but you'd already gotten yours.

Yeah - I figured I would have had to feed him on the way up and on the way back. It's what- an hour and 15 minutes from his house maybe. If rumors are true, he'd have been famished by the time we crossed the bridge!

My secret's out. I think I may need a 12-step program!(provided they supply snacks of course.)

Not to poke fun at you guys or the shirts but at what age should we expect the plaid flannel shirts to start arriving at Christmas? I'm almost 40 & already get socks & underwear.
I'm also wondering when my USMMA reunion will require the standard blue blazer. At my 15th, there was a discernible division between the silver hairs with the blazers and the younger crowd wearing nice casual attire.

Do you mean already worn and then thrown off in a mad passionate display of affection with Santa?

Growing up I always got flannel shirts for Christmas. S+U weren't always in the Christmas pack, but they were welcomed. As for the blue blazer, I haven't gone there yet, and I am over 40. I still go with the sweater and tie when I have to look presentable. It's hard but I do my best.
