Well boys, headed back out to the Tred tomorrow.  Any recent reports?  Just got a downpour in Wilmington,  hope that doesn't spell trouble.  I'll report back tomorrow night.   Can't believe I'm still this far south in August.  Usually much farther north by now.  But it doesn't seem like anywhere else is hot.  The Miles, Wye, Chester?
Thanks, Crabbytrooper

I crabbed the Chester River yesterday for about 3 1/2 hours. Tide was high going to low when I hit the water. Caught 30 nice crabs, a few small ones thrown back. Largest, a few 8 inch ones. It was spotty though, moved a few times. The majority I caught was to the south of the markers where people go into the channel under the narrows. Water depth was 6 1/2 feet consistantly. Saw about 4 small jellies, water is cooler for this time of year. Good luck! I am just excited I caught more than 3 three crabs from my last trips to the Wye. Smiley Wink Cheesy Grin Cool Grin

Boys,  Just got in.  2:30p.  44 nice crabs. All around 7" or so.  The females are starting to show up.  Salt content must be rising.  3 to 4 other crabbers on the water.  Only talked to one other..... a light bushel.
