Well, they're starting to make it up north. It's still spotty, and I wouldn't say they're running, but they are here. We didn'tmake it out until after 8:30 Sunday due to the rain, so maybe if we would have been a little earlier we would have done better. We did manage 24 decent crabs. Not the monsters from the last 2 seasons, but nice 6-6 1/2 inchers. Another guy running traps by himself had about 3/4 bu. when we stopped to talk. He was really working, and I don't doubt that he managed a bushel.
     So, I guess I'll drop my boat in the Bush for awhile. It's only 5 minutes from the house and I have a free slip. I just prefer the "cleaner" water a little south.
     My sister was out Crab Alley way on Thursday and managed 26 but she said they were mostly trash only a few "nice" ones. I guess it bodes well for the future, because she saw a whole lot of small ones.
