Me and my son hit Scotts(7am to 12noon)outgoing tide,at least thats what the charts said. Wind was blowing hard off the bay and the creeks stayed flooded with very little current moving.Crabbing was tough and we had to move constantly, water was warm but very, very cloudy.Used 6 handlines with necks we ended up with 33 keepers all males mostly+or-5" a few up to 6".Threw back a lot of undersized crabs.Mosquitoes swarmed us on the parking lot in the a.m.but vanished once on the water(WIND).Feel we would have had better success with some moving water.

i got there around 9:30am and left around 12:30pm.  Surprisingly only 2 other crabbers in the water everyone else was fishing.  But as I drove by that other rental place in Red Bank (the one by the train bridge) i saw a good dozen rental boats in the water.

off the docks. parking not a problem

sorry i am a creature of habit - i usually just go to steve at RBM and that's it.  I'm just curious about the other locales on the nav - is that public parking? do you bring a stack of quarters or something or you find local street parking?

Look guys, Im brand new to area, Thursday im looking to go out and im looking for starting points,
Im looking to start somewhere around rt 301 n 50 starting at kent narrows,
Here are some of my starting points, Kent Narrows ramp, little creek, shipping creek, thompson creek
Do any of them seem to be better then others right now?
If one you pick where do I go from that place? Direction of some kind please. Not looking for your spot but
not some goose chase,
I dont know many if any of the creeks or rivers names, so please be kind and just give some kind of direction,
If you would rather email or message me in private thats fine to.
Any information would be great,
I dont plan on weekends, for now just during the week. I hope this helps me get used to things for awhile
24 traps, and or 2-600' line 6' spacing.
oh and I doubt the first day I'll get an early start, like by 8 or 9 I think. (i know its not right but at first i gotta find my way down)
Thanks to an help.
