I'm in the market for a boat trailor to haul a 1958 aluminum V-hull boat witha 18 h.p. Mercury. I was told it would be one with skid pads and probably 800# maximum weight  would safice. What kind of price would I expect to pay for a new or used trailor? If you know where I could purchase one please let me know. These internet sites don't list prices. I have yet to get an answer to an e-mail to any of them. I live in the corner of DE, MD, and PA. (Oxford, PA) Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, ART

Baeckel, you might try the following:

Dave's Boat Trailers
432 Crain Hwy. North
Glen Burnie, MD 21061
United States
410-761-6460
410-553-6664

Glen Burnie is located just south of Baltimore.
I've bought a couple of boat trailers from them over the years and they have good prices and service.  They carry LoadRite and a couple other brands.  Give them a call, tell them about your boat, and they'll quote you a price.   I have a restored 1986 17' Grumman Aluminum V-hull fishing boat with an18HP Nissan on it.  The new trailer I bought from Dave's for it a couple of years ago is the next size up from what would have sufficed.  I got it mainly because it has larger tires and rock solid fenders over the wheels with stepups.  I paid somewhere in the neighborhood of $750.00.  Good luck.
