Late april.  The clock is ticking.

Looked at this little darling from last year caught in early June.  Gave me the itch to start all over.

Just used the last of my inventory.  Made a massive pot of cream of crab soup.  Down to 4 crab cakes in the freezer.  Really need to start soon before I'm depleted.

Patience is not a virtue I was born with.

Here's a shot of his cousin, caught one month later by my 8 year old.  He was just a bit bigger, but equally tasty!

Just trying to get into the mood to snatch up a few more tasty little critters.  It's great to see the enthusiasm of my kids as they share in the pursuit, whether on water or land.
