AGREE COMPLETELY......Hooper's is a good place with a nice atmosphere overlooking the water (it's across the riven in West OC...)....

Other good places (IMO)
1) Waterman's (on Rt. 50 in West OC..EXCELLENT crabs....never had a bad meal here)
2) Crab Alley is good (but can get really crowded....as with everywhere else....and overlooks Fisherman's Marina)
3) You won't see it publicized too much...but I like Captain's Galley II as well......good crabs...and a pretty niced sized menu for other people who might not like crabs who are with you.....also overlooks Fisherman's marina.

Bottom Line....there aren't a shortage on crabs down there....you're going to find A LOT of choices.

NOTE: again, these are just my opinion...I am anxious myself to hear other opinons, and I've been to a decent amount of other places as well....et.al I've dropped mega $$$$ on crab eating down that way  Cheesy
These places are also all across the RT 50 bridge, so if you're staying in an area where you like to walk around to things, you might want to take your car....although Hoopers is probably do-able.
