I am taking my son crabbing tomorrow, not sure where as of yet.... he is 6, and loves crabbing!!!  I have some spots picked out in Brick, does anyone have any other spots?  I do not really want to go farther than the Brick area, due to the fact that I live up in Northern NJ, and I work until Midnight.... so I may only be running on a few hours of sleep, and do not really want to spend all the early morning hours driving.

Please let me know..... I realize it is short notice.

Email me here:   lkrewer@c3i.inc.com              Subject: Crabbing

Many thanks to you all!!!!

I guess its too late but winward beach is in Brick I think. Its pretty kid friendly w/railings.  The last time I went though, there was really nothing but babies.  Try it.  Or you could try Berkeley Island county park (exit 74 on GSP) Good luck.

It is funny you said that place, just got back from there!!  No luck there today... the most anyone went away with today was 5 keepers.... I must say quite the dissappointment, but I will be going there again for another try.

thanks for the reply though, I greatly appreciate it

If your in Brick and want to change spots, just continue on Rt. 35 SOUTH for about 20 minutes to Seaside Park, once you pass the A&P in Ortley Beach there are 2 docks to crab from. Or just take the Parkway exit for Toms River/Seaside Heights/Rt.37 and take that to the end and you'll be in Seaside.
