The Knot to tie on the top of the Snood

Hi, i recnetly opened a forum about snood lines.  All my questions were answered except what knot to tie the bungee to the main braided trotline.  If anyone knows that would be awesome! Thanks,

wrap the end of the bungee cord around the line and clinch it with a hawgring or if you have a twisted nylon line untwist the line and put it thru the opening and around two of the strands and clinch it with a hawgring.

I was wondering how long you usually cut your bungee cord to be.  Like total length from end to end.  Also do you cut your fuel line about an inch or so, or whatever.  You tell me,
