I have frozen crabs after cooking them.  I removed the legs shell and intestines and vacum packed the bodies.  I used them to make crab soup and cakes.   I have frozen crab cakes vacum packed and ate my last this pass march.

They will freeze cleaned and uncooked too, vacum pack or seal very good, there is a process called glazing that will keep them good for a long time............freeze them and put a pot of water in the freezer, just when it gets a good skim of ice on it,break the ice up and dip froze crabs or fish in the cold water and lay out and refreeze
