The Blue Land Crabs have been discussed here before but today there was a pretty good article in the Daytona News Journal about them. They're becoming scarce because cars are running over the egg bearing females that travel to the ocean to lay their eggs.  Sad Sad Sad                    http://www.news-journalonline.com/

Darned cars, they should be illegal! Grin Grin Grin

I read an article in a trade magazine ( diresctional drilling) where they paid a contractor to come in and bore in pipes somewhere in Canada to protect snakes that where getting run over. It seems the snakes preferred the tunnels made for them over crossing the road.
