where to crab in Lewes?

I'm heading to Lewes in mid sept. to camp/fish/crab for the weekend.  I'm hoping to have fresh fish and crabs for dinner one night.....I know where to go for the fish but what about the crabs does anyone know a good area in Lewes?  Thanks for any help.

I have crabbed right off the municiple pier right there near the drawbridge and did really well.  There was never anyone else crabbing there.  I actually use to bring an electric burner and plug it in right on the pier and cook them as I caught them and eat some while crabbin

I haven't done it since 04 when I got my boat

The only two places is love creek marina ($)- can only really use traps- and rosedale beach near oak orchard, but you have to be there at high tide because when the tide is out there's only a few inches of water.  There are usually a lot of people there anymore.
