There is a heck of a peeler run the last week of june in the upper Indian River, Delaware. Net them from the dock and eelgrass. Man I can't wait.

The peeler is the hard crab about to shed its shell. Soft crab is crab that has just molted.

I am wondering if the first peeler run of 05 will be on the new moon May 8th or hold off till the full moon May 24th? Guess it will be the water temp that decides. Either way, God willing, I will be there. Got all new floats and pots already!...

Can I catch some in the grassy areas of the Wye? I could pole my boat through the marshy areas.
