I Love Crabs!

Ignore
« on: August 24, 2010, 02:00:10 PM »

Hit the Severn Friday at about 10:00 am. Got out late (motor Trouble), but still had a few hours before high tide.

Crabbed in various depths but 4-7ft seemed to be the sweet spot. Caught hundreds of crabs, huge females and tons of 5" males. All back to the river. Also bunches of doublers. Must be nearing full moon.

Solid 3/4 bushel keepers with the biggest around 71/2 ". All nice and heavy. Off the water by 3:00.

I'll get a digital camera for next season and share the picks.
