Help me out here. We got 4 pounds of cleaned raw frozen blue cras from our grocer today, they are thawed, coated with old bay, water is boiling, a little vinager in the water, steam is rolling outa the lid, crabs are on the rack in the pot... how long do we steam them for?

Depends on the pot size, the heat you are cooking at, etc...

4 pounds is only 1/10 th of a bu. so 1 doz. or less cleaned 15 min. tops.
