I am working on a new "coatings" page for the crabpot building instructions on this site. The page has not yet been added to the main site, but I'd appreciate and suggestions and/or comments on what I have so far. Thanks!

Steve,

It looks great.  Can you put a illustration of the set up needed for application? Those direction are fine.   Also, are there more coating products out there? I've been thinking of coating for a while.  Thanks.

Coated pots do rust.   Its the corners were you  open and close them that takes the most wear.  Any spot where the coating is chipped, the corrosion is right there.

exactly...anywhere they cut the wire it will rust. also, anywhere you put rebar in it will rust there too. hey steve, you may want to put the many different colors of coatings. i have fished....yellow, blue, black, green, white, purple,  greyish, and i have seen an orange one too.
