quit the bay @ 5 pm?

Does the rule for no crabbing on the bay after 5 pm hold for the creeks off the bay like the Choptank area, kent narrows, and etc.?  I often have lots of time after work but hate the idea of pulling everything up at 5.

Recreational crabbers may set recreational crabbing gear and crab from boats:
 
during Apr, Oct, Nov and Dec
between 1/2 hour after sunrise to 5:00 PM main Bay
between 1/2 hour after sunrise to sunset in tributaries
 
during May, Jun, Jul, Aug and Sept
between 1/2 hour before sunrise to 5:00PM in the main Bay
between 1/2 hour before sunrise to sunset in the tributaries of the Bay

Pretty vague as far as defining the "main bay" from tributaries.  Anyone ever heard the law being enforced with a citation?

 Nope, but make sure to wear a life jacket!  They do catch you for that!

I think I've discovered a solution to having to quit crabbin' in the tributaries at sunset. A couple of weeks ago COSTCO.com had a SUNFORCE 12V Rechargeable Spotlight on sale, so I ordered it for nighttime use on my boat. Got it UPS yesterday. It comes with a nylon, zippered carry bag, AC charger for household current, and DC charger for the vehicle.  Now, this spotlight is rated at 10,000,000 (10 million) candlepower!! Took it out in the back last night and fired it up.  Whoa, daylight!  Had a Boeing 757 on final approach into BWI try to land in my backyard.  Bunch of kids in a car drove up and wanted to know where the carnival was.  Light this thing up in the Wye or Cornfield Harbor and the sun will never set.
