Back from ND...Nice trip, great guys.  Out of our control was the lack of birds in the area.  2-3 years of dry weather has left most of the potholes dry and the ducks have passed straight through the state.  Many geese are still north waiting for winter to press them down.

We had some nice hunts, but even ~200 miles per afternoon scouting didn't leave us many options for field goose in the AM.  Upland game and diver hunts on big lakes kept the barrels warm...Enjoy!

Merrill,

looks like you had a good time.  Too bad the birds weren't there in great numbers, but looks like you still faired well.  Glad you had a safe trip.  It is time to get ready for hunting.....   Grin

Great Pics Merrill

They look like classics.

26 hours.
Too many people sniffin' around on the east coast...getting all wound up and giving ya dirty looks when ya kill stuff.

You should have seen the [shiz] go down when I tried cleaning birds at college.
Ain't like that in ND, those people are living the REAL American way of life.

Merill,

I am with ya. I could move the [Sam Hill] out of the Northeast rat race, but if you moved to ND, you wouldn't be able to crab....unless there is some kinda prairie crab I don't know about.   laugh laugh  Nice pics.  What did you use a filter or sepia tone finish on them?  reminding me of photo class.
